Dog Social Breed Ambassadors are welcome.

If you are not certain of your pets dog tolerance level, please leave them at home and come learn more about how to determine their tolerance level with a professional trainer, and what you can do to improve their social skills if needed .

At the event you will find a lot of resources that will help you to be the best pit bull guardian you can be; including educational material, training options; and most importantly, other responsible pit bull guardians that share your passion for these loyal pets.
1. All dogs must be dog-friendly, adult-friendly, and child-friendly. 
2. All dogs must be on a 4-foot or shorter leash and kept under control at all times. Retractable leashes are not allowed.
3. All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination, as required by state law.
4. Dog owners/handlers are responsible for managing their dog(s) and disposing of their dog's waste. 
5. One dog per handler, please.
6. No female dogs in heat.
7. Event organizers reserve the right to dismiss any dog and its owner/handler from the grounds; all decisions final.
To help ensure a positive experience for everyone at the PBAD event, please read the following Event Provisions:

Nashville's Pit Bull Awareness Day event ("the Even") is open to the general public. All persons ("participant") attending the event recognizes that his/her participation in the event is voluntary and may result in personal injury or property damage. Participant assumes all risks and dangers incidental to his/her participation in the event, including, but not limited to attendance at the event, observation of the event and participation in attractions offered at the event and all other risks and dangers, know or unknown, associated with the even, whether such risk or danger occurs prior to, during or subsequent thereto and agrees the Nashville PITTIE, its Directors, Officers, or volunteers, affiliates, and (collectively the "Entities") shall not be responsible for any personal injury (including death) property damage, or other loss suffered as a result of participation in the event and/or resulting from the negligence of the Entities. Participation further releases the Entities from and against any and all claims which Participant or any minors(s) accompanying Participant has or may have for invasion of privacy, defamation, violation of any right of publicity, or any other cause of action arising our of production, reproduction, distribution, transmission, publication, public performance, broadcast or exhibition of advertisements, promotions, or any other cause of action arising out of production, reproduction, distribution, transmission, publication, public performance, broadcast or exhibition of advertisements, promotions, content, programs and/or materials in which recordings or photographs of Participants or any minor(s) accompanying Participant from the Event appear. BY ATTENDING THIS EVENT, PARTICIPANT IS DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE ENTITIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITEED BY LAW. IF THE PARTICIPANT IS A PARENT OR GUARDIAN ACCOMPANYING A MINOR OR MINORS TO THE EVENET, BY ALLOWING THE MINOR (S) TO ATTEND THE EVENT WITH THE PARTICIPANT, THE PARTICIPANT IS DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN ALL OF THE FOREGOING RELEASE AND WAIVERS ON BEHALF OF SUCH MINOR(S). IF THE PARTICIPANT DOES NOT WISH TO OR IS NOT AUTHORIED O PROVIDE RELEASE AND WAIVERS ON BEHALF OF THE ACCOMPANIED MINOR(S), THE PARTICPANT SHOULD IMMEDIATLEY ACCOMPANY THE MONOR(S) OUT OF THE EVENT.
