Nashville PITTIE is looking for Pit bull ambassadors to join us in the Nashville Christmas Parade!
The official parade theme is        “Christmas Around the World ”
We need Pit bull ambassadors and their guardians; be creative and dress in festive attire that represents Christmas from different cultures from around the world; to include costumes, colors and lights.

Christmas is one of the biggest celebrations for the people belonging to the Christian faith. But it would be wrong to assume that it is only celebrated among the Christians. With the world becoming a global village, Christmas is now celebrated in many countries around the world. Caroling, feasting, and gift-giving along with the prayers and wishes - Christmas is celebrated with high spirits in various parts of the world. Though the mode of celebration, the dates and the traditions vary, the spirit remains the same everywhere.

To get ideas on how you might dress you and your pet  Click here take a glimpse of the different ways in which Christmas is celebrated in different countries of the world.
First and foremost keep your and your pets safety and comfort in mind when deciding on how to dress for the parade. Be prepared for cold weather and a long walk. Keep in mind there will be a lot of people and possibly other animals, such as horses. Be sure your pet will be comfortable in this environment before deciding to participate.
